CV Businesses Graphic Tee in White
In collaboration with local artist, Cathy Raingarden, we came up with a special tee for this year's Castro Valley Fall Festival. From the past to the present to the future....support your local small businesses. And what makes this shirt even better? Proceeds from each shirt sold will go towards a donation to former vendors of the Lake Chabot Public Market.
About the artist: Cathy's path as an artist began as a ceramic sculptor and segued into work as a ceramic tile contractor in the SF Bay Area. When she returned to college for a second degree in landscape architecture, she discovered the world of urban sketching, where one draws from real life outside of a studio. Wherever she could bring her sketchbook and small purse stuffed with art materials became her studio; city streets, parks, family gatherings, etc. Her childhood on a Napa vineyard gave her a boundless appreciation for nature, and she can often be seen drawing the green spaces within an urban setting. She works in sketchbooks with ink and watercolor, and some mixed media.
Cathy's artwork can be seen in the pages of Edible East Bay and in the Urban Sketching Handbook series.

This shirt is printed on Marine Layer's custom 50% supima cotton, 50% modal fabric. Modal comes from recycled beech wood, which is a natural and sustainable source of raw material and it is extremely soft. You'll never want to take this off.
